I got into the wood flooring business by accident.
By that I mean I messed up a floor royally and when I asked for help I ended up working for and learning from the guy I asked for help. God surely has a great sense of humor. Because of this "interesting" way of getting into the wood flooring business I can relate to the problems associated with trying to install, sand and refinish for the first time.
I have been in the business for the last 35 years as an employee of flooring firms and as a self employed contractor. I now prefer to work as a teacher.
My customers become my temporary apprentices and my temporary apprentices become lifetime friends.
I have experience in custom wood floors, installing, sanding, and finishing. I have done custom inlays and borders.
I have created over 4000 webpages on a wide range of subjects.
I like to follow people who have profiles that say: "Last Login: A while back." One email saying I am following them may make it change to "Last Login: Online Now."

Thanks for the welcome back. I joined this site before it changed its name...back when I had a self-help website and published a weekly newsletter. Then I found out that the New York company that I had paid over $3000 to build the website had not done it properly and there was no way I could sell anything from it. I chased them for several months via emails and phone calls and got no response at all. Then one day when I phoned the phone was no longer in service. My temper got the best of me and I removed my website and most of the posting of articles, etc. I had done in dozens of places around the world. I didn't have anything to do with the net for over two years, then last year I started the pet blog, mostly as a tribute to my dog Teia who lays on the floor near my chair when I'm sitting at the computer. My posts are erratic, but when I feel the urge to write, I post a blog entry in her name.

You certainly are talented/creative because you can put into writing what you're doing and you're passionate in teaching others about how to do things. I was at wall mart looking around I like to look in
the stores to check out some of the new items. Never
worked in a wall mart but it is amazing to see how

Hello, I can relate to your story. Our family has been in the Cabinetmaking business for about 50 years. My husband worked for a cabinet shop for almost 20 years, then just decided to go out completely on his own. We started our own business more than 30 years ago. Our son has worked with us all this time. I had to quit several years ago, when I had a heart problem, but my husband still works every day. Thanks for following me.

Incredible synchronicity here as I was just helping my bother, a stonemason/builder search for commercial flooring materials. I really like that your flooring installation customers become your temporary apprentices and then in turn become your lifetime friends. We are in Australia, so wouldn't be able to use your flooring services but it's great to meet you now as an online friend.
I couldn't understand why anyone would go out of their way to connect with me at Qondio as I haven't contributed here for such a long time now. And it my case .. Reaching out in this way has worked really well.
I receive all the Qondio newsletters, suggesting weekly themes for intels to encourage users to contribute articles on the current theme. And most weeks I feel that I’d really like to write something on the particular topic: But then time gets away once again.
BUT now .. Although the week for the Beauty theme was Feb 24 2010 I’d really like to write an article on “The power of Beauty to stimulate the ‘Creative Muse.’

I notice you had a Ferrari for sale.
My hubby and I sold many a classic car over the last 25 years, when we lived in South Africa. However, a Ferrari was not one of them.
Do you really get a backlink which is follow every time you submit one?
There was a time when I stopped submitting Intels, as I was under the impression that we never receive more than one follow backlink. On the other hand, nofollow links to our web or blog will still help for traffic.

Did you know that in France - Brittany at least - they put up the outside walls, joists, lay floorboards AND THEN internal partitions? A word of caution - new floorboards are thinner than old ones! Therefore, support the partitions, especially those holding up the stairs, before replacing all the floorboards underneath ...
I can't publish this tale, because I am trying to sell my house ...
