Award for most compliments

I have belonged to several different barter groups over the years as a wood flooring instructor. I am currently a member of Hour4hourtimeexchange which is trading hours of my time for hours of someone else's time. There is no cash or currency involved and no cash "transaction fee". I can bank my hours in the system so I can "spend" my time credits with anyone who is a member of the Timebank. This seems to be working very well. In 2003 I belonged to a Barter Exchange called ITEX. This was helpful because it introduced me to customers I wouldn't have found otherwise. One of the basic problems I had with ITEX was there was a 5 percent cash transaction fee for every trade credit I earned and another 5 percent transaction fee for every trade dollar I spent. This really adds up especially when one of my jobs was over $9,000. In 2003 I won an Excellence Award for the most compliments from satisfied ITEX customers. I make it a habit to do the best job possible when I do a wood floor whether it is for cash, trade dollars, or time credits. Although I am no longer a member of ITEX I still have people finding me by searching on Google for Wood Floors on
ITEX. I like that because Google charges no "transaction fee" which was the major reason I stopped being a member of ITEX several Years ago.
