Free Cell Phone Lot at SeaTac Airport
By Franklyn Gallup of FriendlyBank.us
"Free Cell Phone Lot at SeaTac Airport" -- A catchy unique title that I chose for this Intel because it contains both the phrase "Free Cell Phone" and "SeaTac Airport". Both are good key phrases. This Intel is actually about saving money on parking at the Airport. It is also about making going to the airport less of a hassle. I had to pick up my wife at the SeaTac Airport yesterday as she was returning from a two week vacation in Florida. She was helping watch the grand kids as my son was taking a test in California towards becoming a lawyer. On Monday I received a call for repairing a major water damage wood floor repair in Marysville, WA which is about 30 miles north of Seattle. I figured to combine doing the estimate while I had to make the 60 mile trip north to the airport to pick up my wife anyway. It was a great plan and I got the much needed job. On returning south to the airport, I arrived about a half hour before my wife was due to land. Since, we both have cell phones my wife and I always use the Free cell phone lot provided by the airport. If you have never tried this it is a great convenience. It avoids the hassle of the parking garage and the long walk to the terminal and back. I simply go to the free lot and wait. My wife then calls me on her cell phone and then I simply go to the location where she says she will be and pick her up at curbside at the loading and unloading section at the arrivals side of the airport. It is easy in and easy out and quick. Since I was a half hour early I decided to take Marley for a walk and take some pictures. I have included them below. I took pictures of the signage of what you should look for when using the free cell phone parking lot. I also took pictures of Marley and airplanes. The half hour flew by. Most major airports today offer a free cell phone parking lot. It is a great service for people who fly and also reduces congestion at the airport. My wife finally called and Marley and I had to head back to the car. The nice part about this system is you don't have to rack up parking minutes while waiting for baggage claim. My wife calls after she has everything and it is just a matter of picking her up. Marley gets all excited in the car as my wife gets in. She has missed her for the two weeks she was gone. My wife throws her luggage in the back seat and we are homeward bound. Well I am off to Marysville this morning. Life is good. I hope you enjoyed reading this.

I am cell phone free so no free cell phone lot for me currently . I broke my 6th or 7th phone and got tired of paying the insurance deductable. Besides just another monthly bill, no matter what I tried it was at least $50. However back in the good ol' days I liked the convience of the lot as well.

I lost one out in the backfields when walking Marley. I found it several days later. Somehow cell phones don't like cold and rain. It never did work after that.
The cell phone parking lot has saved us quite a bit over the years. It also helps when both picking up and arriving parties have cell phones! Been there without! Exciting to know other airports also offer these parking/pick-up lots.
