How many frogs can you click on in 2 minutes?
By Franklyn Gallup of I Teach Wood Floors
My wild Frog is a simple HTML game using very rarely used marquee HTML Marquee is a code developed for scrolling banners before animated graphics. The code for the frog on the first page with HTML brackets instead of the ()'s (marquee align="middle" behavior="alternate" width="100%" height="30" MARQUEE SCROLLAMOUNT="30")(A HREF="http://woodfloorist.com/WildFrog/1.html")(IMG SRC="http://woodfloorist.com/WildFrog.jpg" border="0")(/A)(/marquee) The the frog is actually a moving link which links to an almost identical page where I have changed the parameters of the movement of the frog and changed the link to the next page. Each page also has a progressively higher number on the "counter" There is no time limit or timer at all. The 2 minutes is a self controlled limit for the user. Basically until he or she gets tired of playing. You can build many pages all linked together. I have added different links on a space I made on each page for that purpose. You can change the Image from an animated frog to anything you want. You can change the behavior of the image in the code. Change the align to left middle or right. You can change behavior to alternate of scroll. If you choose scroll add a parameter direction="right" which can be changed to direction="left". Change the width percentage to limit the range of motion. MARQUEE SCROLLAMOUNT changes the speed the image moves. For some of you this may be way more info than you need. Just Play the game and have fun. Better yet have your kids play this SAFE game so you can get a break. |

This page is basically part of my learning to make web pages. If you look closely you will notice there actually is no timer. If you look closer you will see that you are actually going to a new web page every time you click on the frog. The frog is an image which has a link to the next page which is almost identical except for the movement of the frog, and the number image on the page. I got the numbers from saving images 0-9 and just changed the image to make it look like you were racking up a score. Thanks for the 46 page views. There are 300 separate pages in all with page 300 linking to page 100 so you could conceivably play for ever.
