How to add a contact form to your website for free

By Franklyn Gallup

One of the most important parts of any successful website is to get interaction with your customers. I have found a great place where you can build 5 customizable contact forms. It is possible to build more for a monthly fee if you need more.

For sometime now my webpage at Bibles for Free - Sources to consider - BibleFree.org has been placing high on search engines for free bibles in bulk, free catholic bibles, free bibles for churches, and similar terms.

I recently added a free contact form and it is working very well. I am getting email addresses to reply to all the visitors that have been visiting my website instead of just providing information about where to get free bibles.

The service is called Email Me Form. When you visit you will see a orange arrow which says "Sign up Now for FREE" and a blue one below that which says, "Take a Tour". You can do both of these if you like or just click the sign up now button and jump right in.

The service guides you through the process of creating your own customized forms. By clicking on the names of each field you can change the name of the field. You can also add fields to collect information which is relevant to your product or service. For example, on my form I added an address field, Translation Preferred field, Quantity field, and a How did you hear about us field.

You can make fields optional or required. They also provide several methods for spam prevention like CAPTCHA image verification, IP submission limits and keyword blocking. IP submission limits will stop someone from the same IP making large quantities of repetitive submissions.

Once you have the form exactly the way you want it you simply click "Save Form" at the bottom.

Once you have the form made they provide you with several ways to add it to your website or blog.

HTML Only

I used the HTML Only option on Bibles for Free - Sources to consider - BibleFree.org
I just click on the box, copied the code, and pasted in the HTML on my webpage. It was very easy. Each form has a editor in your account so you can update forms as the need arises.

I also use the forms on my question webpages. I just received a question about wood floors this morning.

It looked like this:

Name*: Art ********

Email*: *******@yahoo.com

Subject of your question*: Tongue and Groove

Your question*: I have 3300 feet of tongue and groove flooring that my installer says is to tight. I bought it from wood shop in Ohio who says it was fine when it left his shop. He made the groove 254 thousands and the tongue 244 thousands. That seems like a very small difference. What is the standard in the industry? The moisture meter showed 7%. I tried a router table but the boards are to long to handle easily. I then set up two tables length wise and laid the flooring on it and used a router with 1/4 inch bit on the groove. The installer was able to do one room. Is this the best way to fix this flooring or do you have a better idea. Thanks

To reply I simply replied to the email, changed the email recipient from burst@emailmeform.com to the email Art provided me and added the message below in the text of the email above Art's information:

That's the way I would do it with my 1/4 inch bit on my router, however I would do it with the boards on the floor rather than on a table.

I do use the HTML link option as well. What this does is use a simple link to your form hosted for free on their website.

This whole program works so well that I will probably be upgrading soon so I can get more than the 200 monthly submission limit on the free account and the 5 different form limit.

What I really like here is this provides unique relevant content for a new webpage. I just copy and paste Art's question, my response and add the pictures.

Let me know if you have any problems using this exciting application.

It works great. I found it surprisingly easy to customize.

This intel is very informative. As a user of web pages a direct way to interact makes sense. In the future when I have a web page I will try this method out.

I usually just do a search on Google but don't tell anyone. It's a secret.
