How to carve a pumpkin without all the mess
By Franklyn Gallup of WoodFloorist.com
Before you know it Halloween will soon be here. My mother sent me an email which contained an online pumpkin simulator which allows you to practice and practice your pumpkin carving skills without all the mess. This is a great activity for kids. If you make a mistake simply click the undo button and try the last cut again. When you have finished your masterpiece click on the done button. Have your speakers on to hear the halloween greeting. You can simply print it out. Then get the crayons or paint out and paint your creation bright orange. Simply go to Pumpkin Simulator and try your luck. Click the again button and you can make another. If you print out the result at 150% on cardstock paper you can make a dandy halloween mask for free. Printing it out on orange paper can help too. Save your finished pumpkins and you can use them for years to come. By putting them in a window with a lamp behind them you can be decked out for Halloween for next to nothing. They won't rot and spoil and the neighbor hood kids won't be smashing them all over your lawn either. Once this Intel gets screened and published send the link to the Intel to all your friends and family. |

Great job you did there, that pumpkin looks nice and scary.

Thanks. I made it myself. If you see some pumpkin seeds and orange gunk floating around in cyberspace it's my fault (grin)
What a clever idea. Thanks.

This is my mother's idea. I just figured out how to make it into a website.
Hi Franklyn, Great Intel. My youngest is 40, so no one here carves pumpkins any more, but for folks with kids, that website would be fantastic. Gilbert

I am 59 and I still haven't grown up. When you get too old to have fun you are really old. Thanks for reading. Perhaps my Intel about 1957 Ford Thunderbirds will be more to your liking. (grin)
I love this. What fun... I love to create. How did you make it into a website and redirect the link? Great job! :)

I created the web page using an iframe It is actually another web page inside of my web page. I get search engine placement for pumpkin simulator anyway which gets me lots of traffic around Halloween.
Now THAT'S my kind of pumpkin! It doesn't even shrivel up in November and get smashed all over the place.

Plus it is safe without the possibility of getting cut. This is a great thing when children are involved.
Thanks for sharing the link. I love the internet and the free stuff you can find. People are so generous.

And you can make as many as you want.
Great idea. I like the jack o'lantern.

You can make Jill o'lanterns too with this program.
Wow, a pumpkin simulator. What will they think of next? I tried it and loved it. I think we need more simulators for those difficult tasks, like, if the kitchen wall really would look great lime green? Or, I bet I would look better sitting in a T-bird than a 1999 Dodge? Thanks for sharing.

I'll bet you would look better sitting in a T-Bird than a 1999 Dodge too!
That is very cute. I usually just paint the outside of my pumpkin instead of carving it, so that after Halloween (and/or Thanksgiving) I can cook the pumpkin and make pies out of it.

I am working on making a virtual pumpkin pie maker but is just doesn't taste the same.
This is one way not to make a mess.

Would you like to download my program MessMaker 7.0 ?
Do pumpkins make holidays more festive?I just love the pumpkin pies.
CONTRIBUTOR'S REPLY
I think it's holidays that make pumpkins more festive. I just had a thought, "Eating something is a weird way to show you love it!"
