How to pick up girls at a craft show
By Franklyn Gallup of zzway.net
I was coming home from church and was looking for pictures for a new article. I found just what I was looking for at a swap meet/craft show. I took some pictures of golf clubs, tools, an old eggbeater some road signs, a chess set, some old plate designs, golf balls, old silverware, pocket knives, a slide rule, wrenches, and chisels. Some of these pictures will make subjects for articles in the future. I have added them to my collection of pictures I then stumbled upon a table of old dolls. My wife collects these kind of old dolls. They are usually dressed in period clothes and include a lot of detail. Many of these types of dolls have ceramic faces. Their clothes often have ribbons flowers and lace. Much of the cloth used for their dresses is made of some very old fabric patterns. You can pick these girls up and add them to your collection. They make great decorations for the home and bring back a feeling of times long since past. My wife's collection of dolls are almost all in elaborate white wedding dresses. Need some ideas for an Intel? Check out the pictures below. |

Oh golly, when I read you title, I got really excited.Nobody has ever tried to pick me up when I have a table at a craft fair and I was hoping you had some good tips for changing that! LOL Seriously, great dolls. I love collectible dolls myself, although I don't have any.

Wait till you read my next Intel about dressing like cows for free food. I do have a tip though. Call a taxi to come get you. They always pick up people even at craft shows.
Just like June, I also clicked your link because of the title, curious why someone like you would be advising about picking up girls hahaha, Very clever... But anyway, would have bought the pocket knives if I were there.

You know what they say about curiosity. I am going to take a chance and assume that "someone like you" is a compliment. They had pockets for sale too to go with the pocket knives.
Hi Franklyn, Great Intel. You amaze me. An Intel about a Jewish bible and then I see a note saying you had just published an Intel on picking up girls at a craft show....I just had to read it as quickly as I could click on the link. You sure know how to write titles that will get people to read your Intels. I believe that the dolls with the china or pottery faces are actually quite valuable if they are in good shape. gilbertg
Oh, yes, Franklyn, that was a compliment. It's only now I realized that it could mean another thing. What I meant was (the same as you assumed, so you're really a positive person) picking up girls seems a far-out topic for "biblefree." Anyway, I'm now thinking of a title as smart as yours for one of my posts. Thanks for the idea...
... And here I thought that I was FINALLY gonna get some good tips on... Disappointed again...
You got me Franklyn and you know what I was thinking! lol Just shows you I'm human like everyone else here that was thinkin' the same thing! Very clever title! What a hook... I wonder how many others you'll reel in?!! :)
