Last Login: Online Now??
By Franklyn Gallup of 2010Ferrari.com
On January 29, 2010 at 18:57 TANITU left this note on my profile: "Last Login: Online Now." - Thanks for the Inspiring "follow" your my first ! - I'll keep this in mind when "it's been "awhile" :) TANITU Jan 29, 2010 18:57 Tanya is of course referring to the new line I added to my profile bio: I like to follow people who have profiles that say: "Last Login: A while back." One email saying I am following them may make it change to "Last Login: Online Now." To me it seems that "inspiring people" who have become inactive about participating to become active again is easier than trying to bring new people in. That's not to say I am not working on bringing new people in too but it seems to me easier to reinspire someone who already has a profile in place and understands the concept. Now if I could just get Tanya to follow me back (grin). I know when I first signed up I made a profile and forgot about it for several months. An email that told me that someone had signed up under me is what got me re-motivated to get active again. I logged in and discovered two people had signed up under me. Now I got excited. I starting adding both websites and Intel. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

Sounds like you have a meaningful approach to re-inspiring people who have become inactive. If memory serves, I think I received an email saying that Qondio was planning to delete accounts that had been inactive for quite some time.

I wouldn't be surprised. I am sure that inactive accounts take up a lot of valuable space on their computer that could be put to better use.
Good Story! Yep, stick to it! Actually it is a familiar story and one that I can relate to. A couple weeks ago, someone followed me and here I am. But what I was more curious about was the name Qondio..., it wasn't in my bookmarks. Qassia was there though and I recently found out about the name change. Don't know if I'm going to write much though. I don't seem to do much of that, lately.

I joined when is was Quassi and it took me a long time to change all the links I had pointing at my profile. Things in the wood flooring business are slow now so this keeps me busy for the moment.
I think it's a great idea. Bring 'em back.

Right now I just checked and I am following 851 profiles. I am trying to imagine if all of them become active. I would think if others started to follow them too after about the 10th email I would think they would be curious enough to login and check out what the heck is going on.
I love the picture! New to this and still online, thanks for following me it really does work to keep motivated. Ruth

This picture is a sign of the times. This was one of about 7 similar pieces of equipment parked along side the road with a for sale sign on it. When I have time and the digital camera I stop and take pictures of things I might have a use for so I have a stock on my computer so that I don't have to go searching for pictures or worrying about copyright.
I think that if we can trigger enough of the members who are currently dormant to wake up and start using this site, we can be instrumental in helping to turn it into a really great site. There are some great new features on Qondio, and I believe that the time has come for it to make a difference.

I think the streaming feature is pure genius. If you get a chance take a look at the website about Tri-Star Cleaning Systems. I am not a rep but this web page shows how I turned an instant message on AOL into a unique web page. I left all the misspelled words in and everything. Adding a change in font colors and some other HTML and presto you have a web page.
That is a pretty cool way of turning a conversation into a web page. I wonder how many times the keywords appear on that page? I don't market any products though, but if I did I think this would be a great way to help boost business.
The only trouble I find with following a lot of people is that there are not enough hours in the day. I have over 9,000 followers in eCademy but I really can't keep in touch with them personally. I am only following a few people here but already I find that I can really only spend a little time commenting so I don't get my point across as well as I should. The comments are a bit short as well so a point cannot really be developed.
I am at that stage too, it's impossible to follow everyone, otherwise you spend all your time on correspondence and none on trying to earn money or promote yourself. You have to find a way to keep things balanced.

I agree. I leverage the websites to do the work for me. The trick is casting a wide enough network to have people find the websites. I spend the time I allot for correspondence and don't worry about what I don't get to.
