Saving geese with quantum physics
By Franklyn Gallup of NationalDiscountHealth.net
I am currently studying with a new friend named Elocin Martin. She has opened up a whole new way of looking at reality for me. I am starting to accept the idea that what I think changes the world around me whether it be a good change or a bad change. Everyday I see that this is more than just a passive idea. I think just being aware that my thoughts can create changes in the world around me helps me recognize changes that were happening by default all along. Quantum physics holds that what we think does make changes at a sub atomic level. As I was out walking the dog this morning I happened to hear a large flock of geese in the distance flying south. I live in Washington state so this is pretty normal. The formations of geese have always fascinated me so I watched them for a while. As I watched I noticed a much smaller flock in formation which were flying west to northwest directly towards me. They were much closer to me than the main flock and were almost over my head. I THOUGHT, "These twelve geese are lost. Will they ever reconnect with the main flock? No sooner had I thought that then one lone goose on the right end of the formation started flapping his wings to make a mid air 180 degree turn and flew solo towards the main flock. As I stood there in amazement, I couldn't help but wonder if that goose had deviated course and left the flock in response to my thought. Had I just made a mind connection with Johnathan Livingston Goose? I probably will never know if I saved the life of one goose that needed to fly south to warmer weather for the winter or not but I would like to think so. To me what made this so remarkable is that the other 11 geese kept right on flying in formation in a northwest direction without even seeming to notice that the one goose had left on his own. Of course it could have just been a coincidence that the goose changed direction at the very moment I had that thought but I am starting to not believe in coincidences. I would love to hear your thoughts on this providing you don't think about an elephant in my living room. |

I tend to think that when you "notice a coincidence", there is a reason for it and therefore not a coincidence at all. Thoughts are shared all around the world and through it. I have a lot to say on the subject and guess the proper place isn't here. Anyway, I like the intel. Made me think. :)
