Secret to creating car webpages

It never ceases to amaze me when I start talking to someone about my website when they say,"I have thought about making a website but don't know what I would make it about. Here are some suggestions for some very unique content. Pick up a newspaper or Thifty Nickel type Free paper. Find a car you like or find interesting. Call the phone number and get directions. Take your digital camera when you go to look at the vehicle. Ask lots of questions. Tell the person you are collecting information for your webpage and would like to help him or her sell the vehicle. You may even find he is interested in what you are doing and you might have an opportunity to talk to him or her about some backlinking programs you use. When you get home upload the pictures which are unique since you took them of a unique vehicle. Add your own thoughts and feelings about the vehicle and you have just made unique content. Add some links to webpages which are related and you have a unique new webpage. This technique also works for anything else you might find in the classified section. Not only is this a great way to make webpages but your pictures are helping get traffic your website. Many people Search Google by "images" and if they like your picture may very well come to your site to find out more. This also works with car dealers. I talked to a car salesman in Wyoming and discovered that all the leads from the dealers webpage were going to a favorite salesperson so he wasn't getting any of those sales. I explained what I was doing and asked if I could take one of his new 2008 Suzukis out for a test drive. I took pictures and then went home and made his Suzuki and a Subaru website for him. I came back and showed him the result and he got all excited especially about the videos I added to the Subaru site. Another idea is Home Shows. I went to the Tacoma Home and Garden Show about 4 years ago. I collected information from the 700 plus vendors there and went home and made a webpage titled "About my visit to the Tacoma Home and Garden Show". I just included information about all the vendors. The funny thing is that every year now when the home show comes around I get people on the site from Google. |
