Tutorial for building a splash page using html

Building a splash page or any type of webpage is a lot like building a house. I will first take you step by step to learn html. Then I will help you buy a piece of cyber real estate to build it on if you would like that assistance. There is no cost for this tutorial but you will find learning html to be priceless. It is true you can build a website using a site builder without knowing html but it is a lot like doing calculations with a calculator without knowing how to do the math without a calculator. If you learn the math first you will be much more skilled at using a calculator. You will find I am an excellent teacher and I think you will be surprised how easy html really is. I would hope that you would refer others to me after we finish the tutorial. We are going to be transforming an Adrianna Dane Splash page to a Steak and Egg Omelet splash page in this tutorial. First go to http://woodfloorist.com/html/ This is the starting page. Scroll down and you will see that I have added the html of the original page at the bottom. You will see a line of links to each of the 13 changes we will be making. Before we begin I would suggest that you click on the link below that to see the original page. What I have done is I have added periods into the code which keeps it in text form. On each progressing page I remove the periods. By right clicking and viewing the source code of each page you will be able to see comments about what changes I have made with an explanation of the change. You will also be able to close the source code page and see what those changes do as we progress through the tutorial. You can go through the pages by yourself if you would like or call me so we can be go through it together so I can answer any questions you have as you go though the tutorial.
