Why is the world round? and answers to nine other questions
By Franklyn Gallup of WoodFloorist.com
It started out very innocently. (Perhaps not so innocently) I was looking to make a web page with a link to my ten top answers on Webanswers where my answer was selected to be the very best answer. It seemed easy enough. I added the links to my questions: 1. What's the most bizarre, or ridiculous, thing you've ever heard? 2. Benefits of Keyword Research? 3. Do some people only ask questions here and never answer? 4. My grandchildren were adopted. Can they kick her out and can she stay with her real family without getting anyone in trouble? 5. How does a highschooler go about choosing a career path? 6. What exactly is 'spamming'? 7. Why is the world round? 8. Which one: Google.com or Yahoo.com? 9. Webanswer is asking for whether the answer is copied or not? 10. What Does an Architect Do? Everything seemed perfect then something interesting happened. I noticed I had a lot of space left over at the bottom so I thought, "I'll just search on Google for Top 10 and see what I can add to the bottom of my page. Here's where I got into trouble. There are thousands of Top 10 lists. I knew instantly that I wouldn't have room to include all of them. Then I got an idea! People shutter when I say those words. I would list the top 10 top 10 lists. At least what I thought was the top 10 lists. There first was a website with the very interesting domain name of Toptenz.net I added this as the first website. It seemed very interesting. Next I added the website for the top 10 songs. This seemed like something everyone would be interested in. The third choice was top-10-list.org. This I found interesting since they offered a new list of top 10 lists everyday. Furthermore you could submit your own top ten lists for them to consider adding. Wow a social network all based on top 10 lists. The forth website was the Late Show top 10 which appears on David Letterman on CBS. I have watched this show for years and never thought much about that he presents a new Top 10 list every night. This lead me to the conclusion that there might be some merit to this idea. The fifth website I added was to toptenlinks.com/ This is actually a top ten links directory. They have over 1000 categories. OK now this is getting serious. A person could spend hours on this page alone. Number six was "Top 10 Ways to Upgrade Your Daily Routine". I thought this would be interesting. I mean who doesn't want to get out of the daily rat race. I added "The Top 10 of Everything, Created by Everyone | Top10" as number seven. This is actually a social network. I joined and added my own top ten list. I could see this might begin to be addictive. Really addictive. Number eight was "FBI Top Ten (9) Most Wanted" I added a (9) since they haven't replaced Bin Laden yet. I'm sure they will get around to it some day. The "Top Ten Most Fascinating Urinals" was very funny and interesting at the same time. It is interesting to see, for example, how an art museum can make something mundane into a work of art. And last but not least was "Top 10 - The World's Best Trips, Adventures, and Places to Visit from National Geographic" I was a little surprised that they didn't include Fredrick's trip here but I am sure they are considering it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. To see the finished web page click on the web page below. Have fun! Top 10 answers to questions

It's an adventure just to keep up with all that you do, Franklyn!! The web page is wonderful and I'm in awe of your talents. I'm still bumbling and typing with one finger and one website. It's been a great trip for me and having friends like you makes the experience more gratifying. Best wishes. Frederick

Each of us has his or her own path to travel. For some that path only requires one finger at a time and one website at a time. For others it requires more and still others less. If it were not so life would be pretty boring. I have enjoyed our friendship and reading your Intels. Personally I think everyone has great value and one only has to look for that value to see it. Thanks for the comment.
Remember when the local radio station had the Top 10 countdown? Or the 10 Most Wanted list at the post office.
CONTRIBUTOR'S REPLY
I remember the Top 10 countdown on the radio and the top 10 Most Wanted. I never made it on either list.
