Wishes do come true if you follow enough people

Today I noticed a new note at the bottom of my profile:

Thanks for the follow and (ahem) you got your wish, following me... have become more active, at last!

I can only assume that this message has to do with the couple of lines I added to my profile recently which reads:

I like to follow people who have profiles that say: "Last Login: A while back." One email saying I am following them may make it change to "Last Login: Online Now."

I can only imagine what will happen if that happens 800 more times. I think that is pretty awesome.

Now if I could just convince a lot of people to follow Regini so that she is inspired to stick around awhile and remain an active contributor that would be a good thing.

If you or someone you know has any ideas how I could accomplish that I would LOVE to hear your ideas in the comment section below.

Incredible synchronicity here as I was just helping my bother, a stonemason/builder search for commercial flooring materials. I really like that your flooring installation customers become your temporary apprentices and then in turn become your lifetime friends. We are in Australia, so wouldn't be able to use your flooring services but it's great to meet you now as an online friend.

I couldn't understand why anyone would go out of their way to connect with me at Qondio as I haven't contributed here for such a long time now. But then I read the last phrase of your Bio: I like to follow people who have profiles that say: "Last Login: A while back." One email saying I am following them may make it change to "Last Login: Online Now."

And it my case .. Reaching out in this way has worked really well.

I receive all the Qondio newsletters, suggesting weekly themes for intels to encourage users to contribute articles on the current theme. And most weeks I feel that I’d really like to write something on the particular topic: But then time gets away once again.

BUT now .. Although the week for the Beauty theme was Feb 24 2010 I’d really like to write an article on “The power of Beauty to stimulate the ‘Creative Muse.’
